Baumgartner sworn into Congress
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Eastern Washington officially has a new congressman.
Rep. Michael Baumgartner, R-Spokane, was sworn in as the 5th Congressional District congressman Jan. 3.
“I’m excited to get to work securing our border, reducing inflation, and fighting everyday for the people of Eastern Washington,” he said.
The 5th Congressional District encompasses Spokane, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln, Whitman, Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield, Asotin, and parts of Adams and Franklin counties.
