Holiday closures announced

RITZVILLE — Several businesses and government agencies are planning to be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Ritzville-Adams County Journal office will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28 and 29, in observance of the holiday.

Public schools, too, will be closed both days, with school resuming Monday, Dec. 2. However, high school sports teams are expected to practice Friday and Saturday.

Municipal and state government offices will close Thursday, as will financial institutions and the U.S. Post Office.
