LIND - Thousands of fans turned out Saturday, June 8, to witness the destruction of farm equipment during the 35th annual Lind Lion's Club Combine Derby.

Weekend festivities also featured a car show, parade through town, a barbecue in the park, car racing, and pickup and grain truck races, including an Australian Pursuit and powder puff races.

The weekend was capped off with a live performance Fred Bauer band in the arena.

The Combine Derby is a demolition-style derby, except drivers are piloting 15-plus-ton farm implements.
