A NEW SIGN has been erected at the east end of the antique machinery display at The Depot. The sign was designed and made by John Rankin, on the right, with funds from Ritzville's Tourism Fund. Louie Lobe, on left, was an early organizer who collected the equipment originally located at Lobe Park on W. First Avenue.

Farmers will note that wheat has gone up five cents per bushel during the past week. It is likely the talk about war has influenced the market. Possibly the war talk will suddenly stop one of these days and wheat may come down again.
