NOTICE OF DETERMINATION

OF NONSIGNIFICANCE

Town of Lind has issued a

determination of non-significance

(DNS) for the 2023 Water and

Roadway Improvements, also

known as the Quail Loop Water

Line Replacement and 8th

Street Chip Seal Project. The

proposed project will replace

waterlines along Clarence Street,

Iowa Street, Vulcan Street, and

Wilber Road. The existing gravel

roadway surface on the named

roads will be chip-sealed, and

additional chip-seal work will

be completed on Florenz St,

East 8th St, North I St, North L

St, and North S St. Work will

occur within the rights of way

of the named roads. As the lead

agency for this proposal, the

Town of Lind has determined

that the proposal does not have

a probable significant adverse

impact on the environment. An

environmental impact statement

(EIS) is not required under

RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). This

decision was made after review

of a completed environmental

checklist and other information

on file with the lead agency.

This information is available to

the public on request. This DNS

is issued under WAC 197-11-

340(2); the lead agency will not

act on this proposal for 14 days

from the date below. Comments

or appeals must be submitted

by April 6, 2023. Comments

or appeals to this DNS can be
