NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR JUDGMENT
FORECLOSING TAX LIENS AND SUMMONS
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF ADAMS
NO. 21-2-00039-01
ADAMS COUNTY, a municipal corporation, plaintiff
vs.
The estate of MICHAEL BARNES, heirs and edevisees of MICHAEL
BARNES; The estate of TAMARRA J. BASS, heirs and devisees of
TAMARA J. BASS: The estate of Thema M. FREEMAN, heirs and
devisees of THELMA M. FREEMAN; Harold L. KENNEDY, a single
man, and LINDA N. GARCIA, a single woman, and ALLIANCE ONE
RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT INC>, as trustee; The estate of
MINA KNOX, heirs and devisees of MINA KNOX, BENEFICIAL
MORTGAGE, trustee, BANK OF AMERICA, a national banking
association, and DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL AND HELATH
SERVICES, State of Wsahington Office of Financial Recover;
THE REVOCABLE LIVING TRUST NO. 20100707, and DOSA
GROUP OF COMPANIES, INC., as trustee; and each and every
lot, tract, parcel, and portion of the hereinafter described lands and
tenements and each and every person, firm or coporation, known
or unknown, if any, having or claiming to have any lien, right, title,
claim, interest, or estate of any kind or nature whatsoever, in or to
the lands and tenements described in the application, Defendants
YOU AND EACH OF YOU, and all other persons or parties known
or unknown, claiming any right, title, estate, lien, or interest in or to
the real property described in this Summons and Notice of Application
for Judgement Foreclosing Tax liens, are notified that Adams
County is the owner and holder of Certificate of Deliquency NO.
21-2-00069-01 dated September 9th, 2021. The Certificate was
issued on September 9th, 2021 by the Adams County Treasurer
for real property taxes, assessments, interest and penalties unpaid
and delinquent for three (3) or more years, together with costs.
The lots, tracts and parcels of real property are described in the
Certificate. The names of several reputed owners, as they appear
on teh rolls of the Adams County Treasurer; the amount of the
delinquent taxes or assessments on each of the lots, tracts and
parcels of real property, including interest at 12% per annum; the
application penalties and costs; and the years for which the same
are due and unpaid are set forth and described in the Certificate.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Plaintiff will apply to the
Adams County Superior Court for a judgment foreclosing its lien
for taxes or assessments against the lots, tracts and parcels of
real property described and for an Order of Sale of the Property.
YOU AND EACH OF YOU ARE SUMMONED TO APPEAR in
teh above-entitled Court within thirty (30) days after the date of
personal service, service by certified mailing or service by publication
(whichever applies) exclusive of the day of service or first
publication date, of this Summons and defend this action or pay the
amount due, plus additional interest and allowable costs. In case
of your failure to do so, judgment will be rendered in this action
foreclosig the lien for taxes, assessments, interest and penalties
against the several lots, tracts and parcels of real property in the
amounts shown to be due against htem and as described in the
Certificate of Delinquency No. 21-2-00069-01, plus any additional
interest and allowable costs; and an Order of Sale of the proeprty
will be entered.
ALL PLEADING AND PROCESS IN THIS ACTION MAY BE
SERVED UPON KAYLA MEISE, ADAMS COUNTY TREASURER,
210 WEST BROADWAY, Ritzville, WASHINGTON, 99169, OR
UPON RANDY J. FLYCKT, ADAMS COUNTY PROSECUTING
ATTORNEY, 210 WEST BROADWAY, Ritzville, WASHINGTON
99169.
PROPERTY MAY BE REDEEMED FROM FORECLOSURE AND
SALE OF THE PROPERTY AVOIDED BY PAING THE DELINQUENT
TAXES, ASSESSMENTS, INTEREST, PENALTIES AND
FORECLOSURE COSTS PRIOR TO THE DAY OF THE PUBLIC
AUCTION. THE RIGHT TO REDEEM THE PROPERTY EXPIRES
AT 4:30 P.M. THE DAY BEFORE THE PUBLIC AUCTION; THERE
IS NO RIGHT OF REDEMPTION ON THE DAY OF OR AFTER
THE PUBLIC AUCTION.
