Patricia Phillips to pursue teaching job

RITZVILLE – The clerk for the county commissioners is stepping down from her post.

Clerk of Board Patricia Phillips submitted her resignation to commissioners during a June 14 meeting, to be effected July 29.

Phillips said she plans to pursue teaching, having already completed the education necessary to begin student teaching in the upcoming school year.

She plans to remain in the area and seek employment within the Lind-Ritzville School District, she said.
