Sheriff's Office receives armored vehicle

The Adams County Sheriff's Office has received an armored vehicle provided by the U.S. military. The 14-18-ton vehicle known as an MRAP, short for mine-resistant ambush protected, is designed to withstand explosive attacks and ambushes.
