LIND STATE BANK
CLOSES ITS DOORS
The Farmers State Bank at Lind was closed Monday morning and state bank examiners Fred Stevens and R.L. Gentry took charge for the liquidation of assets. The action was taken at the request of the Board of Directors.
Since it's organization, poor crops have rendered the debtors among the farmers unable to meet their obligations. With the severe depression through which the country has been passing and low prices for wheat, the bank was unable to realize on it's assets and keep in a liquid condition...
