RITZVILLE – A local football player has been named a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association statewide Athlete of the Week.
Junior Lind-Rizville/Sprague quarterback Chase Galbreath was named the Class 2B boys Player of the Week for Week No. 4 of the fall sports season.
Galbreath went 14-of-21 in the air and connected for three touchdowns in the Bronco’s 27-0 win over the Jenkins (Chewelah) Cougars.
Additionally, he added a rushing touchdown and kicked three extra points after touchdowns in the game.
