Volleyball coaches still needed

RITZVILLE – Lind-Ritzville schools were scrambling Monday to find two more volleyball coaches even as the first high school practice was allowed to begin.

The high school team was to start practice Monday, Aug. 23, and the middle school is set to begin Monday, Aug. 30.

The high school is looking for a C-Squad coach and the middle school is in search of an assistant coach.

The middle school position was thought to have been filled already, but the prospective coach withdrew following Governor Jay Inslee announcing mandated coronavirus shots for all school workers...
