Minimal rain finally falls in Ritzville
RITZVILLE – A brief rain shower blew through the city late Sunday morning, Aug. 8, bringing a small amount of precipitation.
The shower was accompanied by 15 mph winds from the southwest as temperatures dropped to the low 60s.
A rain gauge located on the northwest edge of the city recorded 0.05 inches of rainfall during the 20-minute shower.
That is the most single-day precipitation measured at that location since February.
