BOOTLEGGER IS PINCHED BY OFFICERS

Taking advantage of the crowd in town for the Horse Show a man named L.A. Boyd started what is alleged to be a joint at a room at the Adams House. The authorities getting wind of it Sheriff Rider and Deputy McCollom and Lambert made a raid and nabbed the man together with 50 quarts of whiskey. It was asserted that Boyd was selling liquor at 50 cents a drink and making change with Canadian currency.
