Ice Age Flood Institute studies fracture zones, mima mounds

The Palouse Falls Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute led a car caravan tour of the middle/western part of the Cheney-Palouse Scabland Tract on Saturday May 15th.

Thirty-two people participated, including some from Portland Ore., Hayden Idaho, and Sequim and Port Townsend. Leaders were chapter President Lloyd Stoess and Vice-President Jacqui Hair; EWU professor of geology Chad Pritchard; and EWU student Morea Schofield.
