Palouse to Cascades Trail kiosk installed in Lind

A new informational kiosk has gone up in Lind for the linear state park that follows the old Milwaukee Road right-of-way on the east side of the Cascades.

The kiosk for the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail features graphics, and a steam-era photo of a train at the Lind depot.

The kiosk is located west of two grain elevators orphaned when the Milwaukee Road ceased operating west of Miles City, Montana in 1980....
