RITZVILLE – Lind-Ritzville-Sprague-Washtucna softball players hosted the Asotin Pirates Wednesday, April 28.
They lost the first game 10-0.
Asotin Head Coach Willie Wingfield said he was impressed with the Ritzville players.
"They are young and hit the ball really well," Wingfield said. "Plus they showed great sportsmanship. They made several catches in the outfield. The catcher worked very hard and blocked the ball very well. As their pitching improves, they will be a solid club."
