RITZVILLE - The Broncos hosted the Asotin Pirates on the baseball field, losing the first game but coming back to win the second.

Scoring runs were Harder and Chase Galbreath.
The Pirates scored 15 runs.
"This is our first win of the season," Asotin Head Coach Jim Holman said after the first game. "We came out and hit the ball well and we pitched well, so good things usually happen when you do those things."
In between games of the doubleheader Dakota Lane, Ayers, Harder, Kelly, Jeff Staley and Josh McClure were honored as seniors.
In the second game, Owen Telecky pitched two innings and Galbreath pitched three.
The Broncos scored nine runs to the Pirates' three.
"We played a lot better the second game," said Lind-Ritzville-Sprague-Washtucna head coach Jason Hilzer. "We pitched well and finally started hitting the ball, too."
Scoring runs for the Broncos were Cooper Miller with three; Harder with two; and Ayers, Telecky, Galbreath, and Michael Fortin with one each.
The team traveled to Kettle Falls Monday, Saturday, May 1; and are scheduled for a crossover playoff game at a place to be determined Tuesday, May 11.
