City warns about low water pressure
RITZVILLE – Residents on city water can expect low pressure this week, as the water standpipe is being inspected and the tank has to be drained, City Clerk-Treasurer Julie Flyckt announced Monday.
"This will cause low water pressure from today until the standpipe is refilled," Flyckt said. "We are expecting to have the standpipe inspection complete by this Friday (April 16).
Flyckt said the low pressure will be similar to what residents experienced last March, when the standpipe was offline for the tank to be cleaned.
