Trespassing - 2200 block West Barbara Road Othello

Deputies responded to the location for a reported vehicle prowl in progress. The suspect was detained and it was determined no vehicle prowl occurred. The suspect was trespassed from the location and advised they would be arrested if they trespassed.

Agency Assist - 200 block West Broadway Avenue Ritzville

Dispatch advised of a fight in the jail and requested deputy assistance. Deputies arrived and conducted an investigation.

Citizen Assist - 600 block South Kaylee Road Othello

Deputies contacted a complainant who advised she did not want a subject on her property. It was determined the complainant had given the subject permission to be on her property.

Fire - West May Avenue Washtucna

Complainant advised of a fire at the location. Complainant was concerned tire and other hazardous materials were being burned. Deputies checked the area and did not locate any visible flames or smoke but attempted to contact landowner.

Suspicious - South McKinney Road Othello

Complainant advised of several of subjects with flashlights at the location.

Domestic - 2100 block West Margaret Lane Othello

Complainant reported a domestic outside of their residence. Deputies determined an assault had taken place. Seferino Garcia-Lopez of Othello, 26, was arrested and booked into jail for Assault 2nd Degree Domestic Violence.

Alarm - 500 block South Booker Road Othello

False alarm.

Suspicious - South Reynolds Road and West Foley Road Othello

Report of a suspicious vehicle reported at the location.

Theft - 1600 block East Schoessler Road Ritzville

Investigation is ongoing into a report of a theft at the location.

Littering - 2300 block West McManamon Road Othello

Investigation is ongoing into furniture illegally dumped on public property.

Nuisance/Noise - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Loud music. Subjects standing outside the location were asked to turn the music down.

Suspicious - 2400 block West Bench Road Othello

Report of a suspicious vehicle at a location, in which the vehicle pulled into the complainant's driveway and left upon seeing complainant.

Agency Assist - East I-90 near milepost 206 Ritzville

Report of a Washington State Patrol trooper not answering status after going on a traffic stop with an aggressive subject. Deputies started to travel to the area and were cancelled when the trooper made radio contact.

Assault - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Deputies arrived on scene for a reported stabbing at the location, and victim was transported by medical personnel. Ismael Sabino-Gonzalez of Othello, 31, was arrested and booked into jail for Assault 2nd Degree and Witness Tampering.

Warrant Service - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Deputies contacted a subject at the location who had an active felony warrant for his arrest. Jaime Cantu of Othello, 44, was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.

Traffic Hazard - West June Street and South Andes Road Othello

Report of a tractor trailer vehicle parked near the location and blocking traffic sight lines. Deputies determined the vehicle was not a hazard.

Additional Patrols - 600 block West Clarence Street Lind

Report of threats of property damage. The subject used to live at the location and still had property there. The exchange was between complainant's son and subject via social media messaging. Complainant requested extra patrols at his residence and advised he did not want the subject on the property unless he or his son was there.

March 8

Traffic Hazard - 1700 block West Bench Road Othello

Deputes cleared the roadway of debris at the location and contacted public works to dispose of it.

Theft - 1100 block South Scooteny Road Othello

Deputies responded to the location for a reported theft of a trailer and entered it into the state and national databases.

Citizen Assist - South Highway 17 and South Scooteny Road Othello

Deputies were flagged down in the area of the location by a male subject for questions regarding vehicle registration as offices are closed during COVID. Deputies referred the subject to online appointments for the Department of Licensing.

Malicious Mischief - 300 block East 3rd Street Lind

Complainant reported a domestic at the location. Deputies determined it was verbal only.

March 9

Animal Problem - 700 block South Longmeier Road Lind

Complainant reported neglected animals at the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Littering - West Highway 26 and South Johnson Road Othello

Report of litter at the location. Deputies observed a couch and multiple broken down cardboard boxes. The responsible subject advised the litter would be cleaned up within 24 hours.

Fraud - 400 block North Snyder Road Ritzville

Investigation is ongoing into report of a possible fraud at the location.

Animal Problem - 800 block South Taylor Road Othello

Loose dog at the location.

Traffic Offense - 200 block Turner Street Ritzville

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle at the location and the driver was found to have a suspended license in the 3rd Degree. Larry Q. Bronson of Moses Lake, 39, was arrested, cited, and released from the scene for the traffic related offense.

Animal Problem - North Durry Road Ritzville

Loose donkey at the location.

Citizen Assist - 2100 block West Highway 26 Othello

Report of a possible traffic collision near the listed location. Deputies observed a vehicle stopped well off the roadway. The vehicle's trailer suffered a mechanical failure. Deputies followed the vehicle to a nearby trailer park.

Fraud - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Report of a fraud. Complainant was in contact with Social Security Department, IRS, and began monitoring credit sites. Complainant was instructed to make a police report. No loss occurred for the complainant and there was suspicious activity discovered while filing annual taxes.

Suspicious - 800 block South Taylor Road Othello

Report of a white-colored truck circling the trailer park. The driver was reportedly looking for co-workers for a job occurring the next day.

March 10

Lost/Found Property - 2000 block West Highway 26 Othello

Lost property turned in at the Othello substation. Deputies identified the owner and attempted to make contact at their residence without success.

Abandoned Vehicle - 600 block South Taylor Road Othello

Deputies provided a junk vehicle affidavit at the location.

Traffic Accident - West Highway 26 and South Drury Lane Othello

Report of a one-vehicle collision near the location. Complainant advised the driver got out of the vehicle and was leaving on foot, walking to the west of the collision scene. Deputies were unable to locate the driver. The vehicle was towed, as it had crashed into the canal. Investigation is ongoing.

Animal Problem - 600 block South Eagle Road Othello

Deputies were dispatched to an animal problem at the location.

Abandoned Vehicle - 2200 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Deputies were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle call at the location. Deputies provided the requested forms.

Traffic Accident - South Highway 17 near milepost 24 Othello

Deputies observed a collision at the location where a vehicle went into a water canal. The driver was detained and deputies were granted a blood warrant. The driver was later released pending toxicology lab results.

Suspicious - South Highway 17 near milepost 24 Othello

Deer carcass wrapped in a tarp was located on the Potholes Canal east of South Highway 24. Information was relayed to Deparment of Fish and Wildlife.

Malicious Mischief - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Investigation is ongoing into an altercation that resulted in damage to a vehicle. The suspect fled the scene prior to deputy arrival.

Suspicious - 1000 block West Schrag Road Ritzville

Deputies observed vehicle headlights at an unoccupied residence that has been burglarized multiple times in the past. When deputies arrived on scene, the vehicle was gone and there were no signs a burglary occurred. The property owner was advised of the situation.
