Sign up for conservation stewardship contracts

SPOKANE VALLEY – Agricultural producers are encouraged to renew their existing Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) Classic contract.

Participants with active contracts from fiscal year 2017 can renew their contracts for an additional five years if they agree to adopt new, additional activities to achieve higher levels of conservation on their lands.

Applications are due by March 31.

Through CSP, agricultural producers and forest land owners can earn payments for actively managing, maintaining, and expanding conservation activities like cover crops, ecologically-based pest management, buffer...
