Lind student receives grant for oxygen machines

LIND – A fifth-grade student at Lind Elementary School used of some of his spare time during last spring's quarantine to benefit his community.

Hagen Carlson, who has a strong interest in becoming a nurse when he gets older, said he spent time during the school shutdown watching PrepMedic on YouTube.

“It shows life-saving stuff you can use or get,” Carlson said. When he saw a video about an oxygen machine, the wheels started turning.
