Driver runs red light, injures four

MOSES LAKE – A driver was charged with two counts of vehicular assault and DUI after failing to stop at a red light and injuring four people Feb. 23.

Evodio Morales Reyes of Othello, age 21, was traveling southbound on Highway 17 approaching the intersection of Nelson Road when he failed to stop and struck a vehicle driven by Vitalii Kuzhel of Moses Lake.

Kuzhel, 22, was eastbound on Nelson Road attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Highway 17 when he was struck by Morales Reyes running the red light.
