Annual CBDL conference will be online

CASHMERE – The Columbia Basin Development League will be holding their annual conference virtually this year, March 4 from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m. This year's conference theme is "With One Voice," and topics will include the economic impact of the Columbia Basin Project, partner collaboration on the project, information and updates on irrigation district projects, an update on the Odessa ground water replacement program, steps to completion of the Columbia Basin Project, the role of Washington water law and secondary use permits, and information on funding of irrigation and/or water infrastructure projects.

Guest speakers include Melissa Downes of the Office of the Columbia River, Department of Ecology; Madison Moore of the Washington State Department of Ecology; Jed Crowther of the East Columbia Basin Irrigation District; Ian Lyle of National Water Resources Association; and Vicky Scharlau from the Columbia Basin Development League.
