Indoor dining now allowed in Phase 2

RITZVILLE – Citizens are once more enjoying the opportunity to eat inside restaurants, following the east region moving to Phase 2 Monday, Feb. 15.

"I love it, it feels good to see customers again," Hannah Colbert, serving customers at Jake's Cafe Monday morning, said.

"It feels good, it finally feels normal again," fellow waitress Marianne Lazenby said.

While Phase 2 isn't completely "back to normal" yet, it does allow for restaurants to serve guests at 25% capacity. Eating and drinking establishments are required to close at 11 p.m. Taverns and bars serving individuals age 21 and older, and not serving food, remain closed under Phase 2 guidelines.

Indoor entertainment establishments can also now open at 25% capacity.
