RITZVILLE – The westbound lane of Broadway Avenue will be closed to traffic and parking Wednesday, Dec. 16.

The Food Pantry will have a turkey truck parked on Broadway, to give away turkeys to people who have already signed up for the holiday food give-away. Participants will be asked to remain in their vehicles, due to COVID-19 restrictions, while their vehicles are loaded with the food baskets.

Police Chief Dave McCormick said the road blockage, which involves just the lane of Broadway in front of the American Legion, will be closed from early morning until mid-afternoon.
