November 6

Suspicious 911 - 700 block South Lucy Road Othello

Suspicious 911 call hang-up at the location. The subject advised deputies the call was from the business line and was an accidental dial.

Domestic - 100 block South Church Street Washtucna

Complainant reported a subject in the residence hit her and threatened her with a knife. Deputies transported the subject to the hospital for a mental health evaluation due to self-harm.

Agency Assist - West McManamon Road and South Solbeck Road Othello

Request for medical services from a caller located near the location. Deputies stabilized the subject until a medic unit arrived on scene.

Narcotics - North Broadway Avenue and East Lee Street Othello

During a traffic stop, a driver was found to be in possession of marijuana. Deputies obtained a search warrant for blood and towed the vehicle for evidence. Reymundo Espinoza-Mendoza was later cited and released.

November 7

Trespassing - 700 block South Sunset Acres Road Othello

Report of juveniles actively trespassing at the location. Complainant told deputies of ongoing trespassing issues. Deputies searched the area but did not locate anyone. After clearing, complainant called back and deputies again searched the area to no avail.

Citizen Assist - 700 block South Sunset Acres Road Othello

Complainant advised the people were back on the property. Deputies spoke to the complainant’s mother and learned the complainant had not slept in two days, and she believes the problems tonight are related to him seeing things. The mother stated she would attempt to keep the complainant inside and advised there was no threat to the property. The mother advised the complainant was burning in a burn barrel and she was advised that there is no burning allowed after dark.

Animal Problem - 1900 block West Hatton Road Othello

Cattle on the property.

Domestic 1800 block West Sutton Road Othello

Deputies arrested Fabian Garza-Garcia for assault 4th degree domestic violence and he was booked into jail.

Narcotics - South Highway 17 and West Highway 26 Othello

During a traffic stop on a Honda Civic for a moving violation, the juvenile driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driver under 21 consuming marijuana.

Narcotics - West McManamon Road Othello

Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle collision with subjects leaving the scene in a second vehicle, and located the subjects at a local medical center. Investigative efforts discovered significant amounts of illegal narcotics, U.S. currency and one stolen firearm. Investigation is ongoing.

Agency Assist - 1300 block East Weber Road Ritzville

Deputies assisted the Ritzville Police Department with a domestic in progress.

Suspicious - 700 block South Sunset Acres Road Othello

Report of a possible burglary at the location. Complainant later called back and advised subjects walking on the roadway with lights. Deputies attempted contact with the complainant and a relative with negative results.

Nuisance/Noise - 600 block South Wagon Road Othello

Loud music in the area.

Suspicious - South Morgan Lake Road Othello

Deputies contacted subjects in a vehicle during hours of darkness at the location. The subjects advised they understood the hours they could be out on public fishing land, and left the area.

November 8

Traffic Accident - 2500 block West McManamon Road Othello

Deputies responded to a collison at the location and found the vehicle unoccupied. The driver, contacted later, did not sustain any injuries, and the vehicle was towed.

Traffic Accident - East Rosenoff Road and North Bauer Road Ritzville

Hit and run collision involving mailboxes. Deputies located the driver in Moses Lake. Investigation is ongoing.

Juvenile Problem - 2200 block West Shelly Road Othello

Complainant reported a van parked by their garage and someone asleep inside. The subject was booked into Martin Hall, for taking motor vehicle without permission.

Vehicle Prowl - 2500 block West Highway 26 Othello

Theft of a stereo from a truck at the location. The suspect left some garbage behind, including mail to another address nearby. Deputies are investigating the vehicle prowl and possible theft of mail.

Traffic Accident - West June Street and South Andes Road Othello

Two-vehicle collision at the location with no reported injuries.

Assault - 2200 block West Barbara Road Othello

Deputies responded to a domestic assault at the location and learned the complainant had driven to Othello Community Hospital. The victim provided a statement and was taken to a safe location. The suspect was located and interviewed. The report is being forwarded to the prosecuting attorney’s office for charging determination.

Suspicious - 600 block South Hays Road Othello

Mail was located during the investigation of a vehicle prowl belonging to the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Citizen Assist - 600 block South Seguro Lane Othello

Report of a subject knocking on windows and carrying a knife near the location. Deputies located the subject and they were given a courtesy ride into town.

Traffic Accident - 700 block South Anson Road Othello

Report of a hit and run traffic collision at the location.

Suspicious - 600 block South Wagon Road Othello

Report of a vehicle parked on the property without permission turned out to have been allowed by a family member.

November 9

Agency Assist - North 10th Avenue Othello

Deputies assisted Othello Police Department at the location with a vehicle theft investigation.

Suspicious - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Report of a male subject on the property. Deputies were able to identify the subject and he was trespassed from the location.

Agency Assist - East I-90 near milepost 234 Ritzville

WSP requested assistance in checking on the status of a trooper that was on a traffic stop at the location. The trooper radioed that he was fine.

Welfare Check - South Booker Road and West Cunningham Road Othello

Report of a female subject sitting partially inside a red colored vehicle at the location. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Attempt to Locate - Othello Area

Warden Police Department requested assistance in locating a subject in the Othello area. It was learned a subject was released from Adams County Jail at about 12:00, then got into a domestic in Warden with a different female, then left. The subject then texted the female and said he rolled his truck and needed help. Unknown location. Warden Police does not currently have probable cause for arrest for the subject, but will call back if/when they do. Complainant agreed to talk to the female and see if she would be willing to ask subject for his location.

Traffic Hazard - West Highway 26 and South Hays Road Othello

Report of a calf on the roadway.

Abandoned Vehicle - 800 block East Hatton Road Lind

Complainant advised of abandoned vehicles at the location. Deputies provided resources to assist with the matter.

Alarm - 400 block East Yeisley Road Lind

False alarm.

Citizen Assist - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Complainant reported ongoing issues at the location with a subject whose pets were being left at the residence for the complainant to care for, sometimes for days at a time. The complainant was advised to contact pet rescue for assistance in removing the animals and to contact the courts for information on eviction process.

Trespassing - 600 block South Andes Road Othello

The listed juvenile subject at the location was advised of being trespassed and released to a guardian.

November 10

Malicious Mischief - 2200 block West Highway 26 Othello

Shots fired at the location were determined to be a malicious mischief event in which a vehicle was damaged. Investigation is ongoing.

Agency Assist - South Highway 17 and West Highway 26 Othello

Deputies responded to a collision at the location and remained on scene till WSP took over the investigation.

Harassment - 2100 block West April Street Othello

In a

harassment call at the location, complainant told deputies of ongoing issues with his neighbor and plans to contact the courts for a protection order.

Recovered Vehicle - 600 block South Diana Lane Othello

Complainant advised of vehicle at the location, and the vehicle returned as stolen from city limits. The registered owner said they would arrange for a private tow.

November 11

Assault - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Deputies responded to a report of an assault occurring near the location, but the victim did not want to cooperate or provide details.

Medical - 700 block South Pence Road Lind

Medical call at the country travel plaza. A male subject was experiencing an unknown medical issue. Deputies stood by until EMS arrived.

Trespassing - 900 block South Schaake Road Othello

Complainant contacted dispatch to report subjects on his property near the location. Deputies contacted the subjects who advised they were hunting. Both subjects were later trespassed from the location.

Suspicious - 1700 block North Damon Road Ritzville

Complainant advised on her security cameras; she could see a subject walking around her house. The subject appeared to be taking measurements. Deputies responded and contacted the subject. The subject said he worked for a homeowner’s insurance company and was documenting the house for insurance purposes.

Citizen Dispute - 1900 block West Bench Road Othello

Complainant requested law enforcement respond to the location regarding her dog. Deputies contacted the complainant and determined her dog was being held at the request of the City of Othello. The dog was subject of an active dangerous dog investigation being conducted by city officials.

Traffic Accident - West Lee Road and South Reynolds Road Othello

Deputies responded to a two vehicle collision blocking the intersection. The intersection was cleared and a subject was cited for a moving violation at the conclusion of the investigation.

November 12

Assault - 2100 block West Cunningham Road Othello

Complainant contacted dispatch to report a subject advising she was assaulted at the location. Deputies contacted the victim who did not want to provide details regarding the incident.

Death Investigation - 1300 block North Wahl Road Ritzville

Complainant reported her husband possibly having a heart attack and not responsive. Deputies responded and CPR was initiated until EMS arrived on scene. CPR was continued until the subject was pronounced deceased.

Vehicle Theft - South Booker Road and West Foley Road Othello

Dispatch advised of a vehicle theft in progress near the location. Deputies contacted the subjects attempting to flee the area. Both subjects were detained pending an investigation. During the investigation, it was learned the residence where the vehicle came from was burglarized as well. Enrique Leon and Lizbeth Campos-Prado were later booked into jail for Residential Burglary and Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.

Assault - 2200 block West Rainier Road Othello

Complainant requested law enforcement contact to report an assault which occurred in the county. Both parties were interviewed and the incident will be forwarded to prosecutor for review.

Malicious Mischief - 600 block South Taylor Road Othello

Blue colored markings were observed on park district buildings. The markings were documented and covered by district staff. Investigation is ongoing.

Lost/Found Property - 2200 block West Kenfield Lane Othello

Deputies were dispatched to a lost/found property call at the location. A subject was contacted who advised of a lost passport.

Agency Assist - West Highway 26 near milepost 30 Othello

Dispatch advised of a hit and run collision near the location involving a small child. Deputies responded to the area finding the patient to be an adult male subject. Deputies stood by until units from WSP arrived on scene and took custody of the investigation.
