Ready for snow?

Friday forecast calling for it

RITZVILLE — Snow is being forecast for Friday, Oct. 23, according to Weather Underground, with data collected from the Grant County International Airport Station. The prediction is rain showers early in the day, changing to mixed rain and snow later in the day. A high of 39 F is expected, with winds east at 10 to 20 miles per hour. There's a 60% chance of precipitation with snow accumulating one to three inches.

Friday night is forecast to become increasingly windy with snow showers, and a low of 23 F. Winds will be northeast at 20 to 30 miles per hour. The chance of snow is 60%, with expected accumulation of one to three inches.

Studded snow tires are legal as of November 1.
