Pool levy to be voted on in general election

Despite the Ritzville Water Park sitting unused this summer due to Governor Jay Inslee's "Safe Start" programming, annual bills such as insurance must still be paid.

RITZVILLE – A maintenance and operation levy for Park and Recreation District No. 4 is on the ballot for the Nov. 3 general election.

The measure, if approved, would authorize the District to levy a special property tax of $75,000. This would be an estimated $0.194, or just under $2, per $1,000 of assessed valuation in 2020. Funds collected would be used for maintenance and operation of the Ritzville Water Park for the year 2021.
