September 12

Citizen Dispute - West McManamon Road and West Sutton Road Othello

Citizen dispute at the location. Deputies contacted the complainant who advised the property owner not allowing them onto the property to collect her brother’s vehicles but is allowing the tow truck driver.

Runaway Juvenile - 2100 block West May Street Othello

A reported runaway at the location. Complainant advised the juvenile had left the location without permission.

Recovered Vehicle - 1000 block North Rand Lane Ritzville

Dispatch advised of an abandoned vehicle at the location. Deputies determined the vehicle was stolen, recovered the vehicle and cleared the scene.

Welfare Check - North St. Clair Avenue Lind

The complainant was unable to get ahold of his brother for about a week. Deputies were able to get ahold of complainant’s brother.

Hazardous Condition - 600 block South Thacker Road Othello

Complainant advised of shots being fired towards their property. Contacted a subject who advised friends were shooting but had left. The property owner was advised he could not target practice and shoot towards a residential area.

Traffic Hazard - 2100 block West Highway 26 Othello

Report of two quads in the area. Deputy unable to locate any quads.

DUI - South Irby Road Othello

Gerardo Alvarez-Meraz was arrested for DUI and was administratively booked.

Suspicious - 300 block South Steele Road Othello

Complainant reported an unknown vehicle parked on her driveway. Deputies arrived on scene and did not observe any vehicles parked on the driveway. Complainant requested extra patrols in the area.

Nuisance/Noise - 600 block South Wagon Road Othello

Report of loud music coming from the location. Deputy was unable to locate the source of sound.

Vehicle Theft - 2200 block West Charla Lane Othello

Complainant reported her vehicle was stolen from the location by her juvenile son. The vehicle returned and the juvenile was arrested.

Runaway Juvenile - 2100 block West May Street Othello

Complainant reported her juvenile son as a runaway.

September 13

Nuisance/Noise - 600 block South Kaylee Road Othello

Report of loud music coming from the location. Deputies contacted the responsible, who agreed to lower the volume.

Suspicious - West April Street and South Andes Road Othello

Report of a suspicious subject walking around a vacant lot at the location.

Standby Peace - 800 block South Taylor Road Othello

Request for a standby for peace at the location. Deputies observed a custody exchange and cleared after the complainant left the scene.

Suspicious - 1300 block North Highway 261 Ritzville

Report of a suspicious vehicle at the location. Deputies contacted the driver who admitted to accidentally taking too much medicine a few hours ago. Deputies conducted standardized field sobriety tests and determined the driver was not impaired.

Suspicious - 1300 block North Deal Road Ritzville

Complainant advised he saw a vehicle driving south bound on Deal Road, but he never saw it go past his house. Deputies checked Deal Road from Rosenoff to Schrag road and did not locate any vehicles.

Suspicious - W Bench Road and South Broadway Avenue Othello

Report of a traffic accident at the location. Deputies observed the vehicle off the roadway with no damage. The subject advised his vehicle had broken down.

Agency Assist - 16000 block Road 9 NW Quincy

The multi-agency Tactical Response Team responded to the location to execute a high-risk search warrant at the location. The search warrant was executed and the suspect for the investigation was arrested.

Alarm - 800 block South Crestline Road Othello

False alarm.

Suspicious 911 - 2100 block West April Street Othello

Report of speeding vehicles on the road near the location. The complainant was told to not call 911 unless it was an emergency. The complainant did not have a vehicle description for the vehicle.

Vehicle Theft - 600 block South Andes Road Othello

Report of a truck being stolen from the location. The truck was taken between 2000 hours on 09/13/20 and 0800 hours on 09/14/20. Investigation is ongoing.

Traffic Accident - West Davis Road and North Moody Road Ritzville

Complainant reported being run off the road at the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Citizen Dispute - 100 block South Main Street Washtucna

Complainant reported a verbal argument where a subject acted as if they were going to hit them. Complainant requested a phone call only. Attempted phone contact without success.

Theft - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Report of a cold theft from a motor home at the location. Investigation is ongoing.

September 14

Theft - 700 block South Thacker Road Othello

Investigation is ongoing into a report of stolen political and pro law enforcement flags at the location.

Animal Problem - West Rehn Road and East Schoessler Road Ritzville

Report of cattle on the roadway at the location. The responsible was contacted.

Civil Matter - 400 block Apple Alley Lane Hatton

Report of a stolen vehicle at the location. Deputies contacted the complainant who advised of an ex-boyfriend borrowing and not returning the vehicle which is registered to both of them. Complainant was advised to contact the courts.

Agency Assist - 200 block Mission Road Thorp

The tactical response team assisted Kittitas County special response team with the service of a high-risk warrant.

Traffic Accident - East Danekas Road Ritzville

Complainant advised he struck a deer at the location. Deputies completed a collision report.

September 15

Threatening - 2200 block West Rainier Road Othello

Report of a subject making threats. Deputies contacted the subject, and attempted contact with the complainant. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious - 700 block South Solomons Landing Lane Othello

Complainant reported subjects in his trailer filling up a duffel bag. Complainant was advised the matter was civil and he had the option to start the eviction process.

Traffic Offense - South Taylor Road and West Rainier Road Othello

A traffic stop was initiated at the location on the vehicle. The vehicle attempted to elude. The vehicle came to a stop, backed into a patrol SUV and tried to drive away. The driver was found to be impaired. Abel Antonio was arrested later booked into jail for Eluding and DUI.

Report of two suspicious subjects near the location.

Welfare Check - 2100 block West Peter Lane Othello

Report of a possible domestic dispute at the location. Investigation revealed no domestic, but CPS will be contacted reference the condition of the residence.

Welfare Check - 2200 block Wst Barbara Road Othello

Welfare check at the location after the complainant had an employee overhear a parent get threatened by a juvenile.

Suspicious - 600 block South Kristina Road Othello

Investigation is ongoing into report of inappropriate communication between juveniles using school issued property.

Assault - 2200 block Deborah Court Othello

Report of a juvenile attempting to run away from the location. Deputies arrived and the juvenile was arrested for assault.

September 16

Agency Assist - North 1st Avenue and East Fir Street Othello

Deputies overheard radio traffic of a foot pursuit in progress from a hit and run collision at the location. Upon arrival, Othello Police had the suspect in custody.

Citizen Assist - 1900 block West Bench Road Othello

Complainant advised of a subject falsifying court-ordered community service hours, and was advised on how to report the issue with the courts.

Burglary - 2400 block East 2nd Street Lind

Investigation is ongoing into report of a burglary at the location.

Suspicious - East Cunningham Road Lind

Report of a suspicious vehicle at the location. Deputies determined the vehicle was sold for parts.

Assault - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Report of an assault at the location. Deputies contacted a juvenile at the hospital. The juvenile was not forthcoming with information. Investigation is ongoing.

September 17

Vehicle Prowl - 400 block West 3rd Street Lind

Report of a vehicle prowl at the location two days prior. Investigation is ongoing.

Traffic Hazard - East Danekas Road and Seidl Road Ritzville

Report of a cow out at the location causing a traffic hazard. Deputies were able to put the cow back in the pasture.

Trespassing - 1300 block North Highway 261 Ritzville

Complainant reported a subject camping on their lawn area at the location. Deputies learned the subject was a transient traveling through the area. The subject was advised to move along.

Vehicle Theft - 1000 block East Rosenoff Road Ritzville

Report of a vehicle theft from the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious - East 3rd Street Lind

Report of suspicious subjects checking out houses in the area. Deputies were unable to locate the subjects.

Domestic - 600 block South Eagle Road Othello

Report of a domestic at the location. Deputies determined an assault had occurred. Raphael Chavez-Hernandez was located, arrested and booked into jail for Assault 4th Degree DV.

September 18

Agency Assist - 200 block East Hemlock Street Othello

Deputies assisted Othello Police Department at the location for a domestic.

Welfare Check - 900 block South Benge -Washtucna Rd Washtucna

Complainant requested a welfare check on a juvenile subject at the location. The complainant was advised where the juvenile was located and what jurisdiction to contact for further assistance.

Trespassing - 2100 block West Highway 26 Othello

Report of four subjects walking in the area. The subjects were contacted and advised they were on a private roadway.

Traffic Hazard - South Highway 17 and West Foley Road Othello

Report of pallets in the roadway near the location. The pallets were removed and Yancey Pallets advised the truck had been fixed and was no longer dumping pallets.

Animal Problem - 2200 block Deborah Court Othello

Report of an animal problem at the location. Deputies observed an injured dog. The owner of the aggressive dog had been previously contacted for a similar issue. Investigation is ongoing.

Report of a vehicle being driven erratically near the location.

Suspicious - 2100 block West Highway 26 Othello

Report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the location. Deputies contacted the subjects, who advised of a disagreement but everything was fine now.

Welfare Check - 200 block West 3rd Street Lind

Complainant was concerned about her elderly father. Deputies contacted the complainant’s father who advised his phone was having issues and there was no emergency.

Threatening - 2000 block West Bench Road Othello

Complainant reported a threatening call at the location. Deputies conducted an investigation and determined no crime had occurred.
