RITZVILLE – Tina and Colonel Collie were not expecting the sunflowers they planted this year to grow to over 12 feet tall. The seeds, purchased at Ritzville ACE Hardware, were planted in Miracle Gro, inside concrete blocks in the back yard of their home on Adams Street. "They just bloomed out a week ago," said Colonel Collie. "We thought they weren't going to bloom."
