Driver runs stop sign, airlifted to Sacred Heart

ADAMS COUNTY — A 20-year-old driver has been airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane after allegedly running a stop sign Tuesday, Sept. 2.
According to Washington State Patrol officials, Brandon Howes of Elgin, Oregon, was driving northbound on Booker Road shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday. A second driver, Joseph E. Sunde, 63 of Seattle, was traveling eastbound on Highway 26. When Howes failed to stop at the stop sign, Sunde struck Howe's vehicle on the driver's side, according to WSP documents.
