Polanco joins East Adams Rural Healthcare

RITZVILLE – East Adams Rural Healthcare hired a new Chief Financial Officer.

Kimberly Polanco of New Mexico joins the administrative team at Public Hospital District No. 2 Aug. 3.

Polanco will be responsible for accounting, revenue cycle management, and financial planning as well as audit and compliance.

Polanco has over 12 years experience in healthcare leadership roles, according to East Adams Rural Healthcare CEO Corie Fedie. She worked as Chief Financial Officer for La Familia Medical Center and Chief Facilities Financial Officer for the New Mexico Department of Health prior to joining East Adams Rural Healthcare. In New Mexico, Polanco was responsible for direction and oversight of financial operations in primary care, dental services, long term care, skilled nursing, behavioral health, chemical dependency, pharmacy and lab operations.

Polanco is a member and prior board member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association in New Mexico, and the Association of Government Accountants. She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western New Mexico University, and is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.
