Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the above location. The vehicle failed to yield to deputies and eventually came to a stop. Ventura Ozuna, 36, was taken into custody. Deputies located narcotics and paraphernalia in the vehicle. Ozuna was booked into Adams County Jail.

Report of a 911 call and verbal argument was heard on the open line. Deputies found no assault occurred. The subjects agreed to separate for the day to avoid the conflict escalating.

Deputies assisted Pasco Police Department with an investigation which lead to the Othello area.

Traffic Offense – West Leisle Road Lind

Deputies were serving a search warrant on a property when they observed a suspect drive by. Triston David Duplichan, 24, drove by at a high rate of speed on a suspended license. A pursuit started for approximately 15 miles. Duplichan was taken into custody without issue and booked into Adams County Jail.

Deputies assisted the Othello Police Department with a man-with-gun call where there were several other subjects inside the residence. It was learned no one had a gun and a subject had sprayed silly string on the front door.

Dispatch advised of a single rollover collision. Deputies observed a vehicle off the roadway.

Request for a civil standby at the location. Deputies stood by while subject retrieved his belongings.

While on patrol, juveniles were contacted at the location. The juveniles were waiting for their parents, who arrived and took custody of the juveniles.

Complainant reported sometime during the night someone had wrecked their vehicle in front of his residence. During the collision, they tore out trees and his mailbox, then left the area. Investigation is ongoing.

Report of a suspicious vehicle at the location. Deputies arrived and contacted subjects in the vehicle. Kayleigh Wortham was arrested and booked into jail for having an outstanding warrant for her arrest and for obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Fire – West Schrag Road and North Deal Road Ritzville

Report of a vehicle fire at the location. Deputies observed the vehicle was burned up, and discovered to be stolen from Moses Lake. Investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Theft – 2300 block West Hwy 26 Othello

Report of a theft of a vehicle at the location. Complainant was not the registered owner and could not provide vehicle documents or information.

Welfare Check – 2300 North Bob Lee Road Ritzville

Report of a subject in his mid-late 30’s, balding, intoxicated and threatening suicide. Complainant believes he has weapons, is violent, and on disability for mental health. Deputies responded to the location along with WSP. Subject left prior to law enforcement arrival. It was learned no threats were made towards complainant or threats to harm himself.

Dispatch advised the Othello Police Department recovered a lost debit card in Adams County. Deputies collected the card and contacted the financial institution.

Report of several vehicles speeding at the above location and request for additional patrols in the area.

Report of a vehicle driving by a residence on the county road. Complainant is concerned, as the vehicle keeps passing by and road is not a high traffic area.

Report of a vehicle driving in a restricted area. The subjects in the vehicle contacted the office in regards of purchasing items from them.

Report of a fight at East Adams Rural Hospital between two subjects in the lobby. Deputies found the subjects had stopped fighting and one had left the scene. Ritzville police arrived and took over the investigation.

09:33 Missing person report. It was determined the adult female took off on her own and was located in Spokane.

10:01 Burning barrel located in the 100 block of North Palouse. The subject was advised burning was closed for the season and it was illegal to burn anything in a burn barrel.

10:31 Citizen dispute reported from a subject at a local truck stop. An officer took care of it.

June 28

08:54 Report of a missing dog. The dog was located at 09:00.

15:09 Report of about 10 juveniles tipping over garbage cans at the skate park. Upon arrival, an officer observed no garbage cans tipped over, but he advised the juveniles it was not appropriate to push someone around in the tote. A warning was given.

00:15 Report of a camping trailer that may have scrapped a power pole at First and Jackson. The subject was advised they might want to wait till morning and repair the awning on the trailer before continuing. There was no damage to the pole.

Reeport from Adult Protective Services regarding financial exploitation. Several reports were sent to the investigator regarding numerous prior complainants.

20:01 Report of a traffic hazard on west Main Ave. Driver of a black Ford F250 was given a warning. Driver blamed his driving behavior on being angry.

08:49 Report of a subject sleeping in the fire work stand. The stand was not locked and the subject said it was cold and raining last night so he just got in out of the weather.

20:56 Report of loud fireworks in the area of 5th and Division.

23:47 Report from a local truck stop of a counterfeit $10.00 bill. An officer will send the bill and the time and date of suspected passing to the US Secret Service.

23:58 Report of three male subjects trying to break in to the back of a business on Main Avenue. Subjects took off after being questioned by an observer who called in the report.

13:51 Report of an argument between adults over a game being sold for $200. An officer observed one of the adults punch the other through an open window of a vehicle. Jamie L. Decaney, 36, of Ritzville was arrested and booked in to the Adams County Jail for Assault in the 4th Degree. The case regarding the sale has been referred to the Ritzville City Prosecuting Attorney.
