RITZVILLE – Andy's Fruit and Produce is back for their summer season of weekly appearances in the Umpqua Bank parking lot.
Owner Andy Estes sells fresh produce from local farms, along with eggs and locally-raised, all-natural beef.
The season kicked off Thursday, June 25, with tables laden with cherries, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, spinach, apricots, zucchini and kale.
"We'll also be bringing blueberries next week, and Walla Walla sweets," Estes said.
A freezer loaded with ground beef, steaks and roasts from Holy Cow Better Beef out of Ritzville sat in the shade.
"We had a lot of people asking about steaks today," Estes said as she rang up sales of ground beef.
The market takes place every Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Umpqua Bank is located at 108 E. First Ave.
