Big buck

Ryan Wood, left, and Doug Donaldson of Entiat were seen hauling this seven-point bull elk from Clarkston to Entiat as they stopped in Washtucna earlier this week. Wood's father, Glen Wood of Entiat, was with Bob Rosenberg of Clarkston when Rosenberg shot the elk a decade ago in Idaho. The elk scored 395 on the Boone and Crockett scale, and Wood shot a bull elk scoring 411, on the same trip. Also on the hunt was Johnny Wood, who shot an elk scoring in the low 390s. Rosenberg passed away last summer, so the two big bull elk mounts will be reunited in the home of Glen Wood.
