Gritman Senior Center open for in-house dining

RITZVILLE — The Gritman Senior Center is again open to serving in-house meals, starting June 10.

People wanting a meal are asked to reserve one by 9 a.m. The center can be reached by calling 509 659 1921. There is also has a sign-up sheet in the dining room for those who want to schedule their meals ahead of time. The senior center is located at 118 W Main Ave.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and meals are just $5. All ages are welcome. Deliveries are still an option for those wanting to dine at home.

"I delivered 17 meals yesterday," said Sandi Miller.

The menu for the next week is:

Thursday, June 11, China burger casserole and fried cabbage with bacon and onion;

Monday, June 15, fish and fries and veggies;

Tuesday, June 16, potato and ham casserole and green salad;

Wednesday, June 17, German sausage and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and veggies;

Friday, June 18, enchiladas, Spanish rice and veggies.
