Lind Council to discuss grants

LIND — The City Council will hear from the public during a digital meeting at 7 p.m. May 26 on the use of grant funds. The hearing will be accessible via call-in conference call by dialing 800-944-8766 and entering the participant code 80433# when prompted.

The regular council meeting will follow.

In routine business during a May 12 meeting, the council discussed $12,120 and $14,000 options for a new City Hall roof.

Patrick Sheehy also reported progress on the cemetery water line being delayed by a water pump that did not fit the project. “It will probably be an increase of $5,000,” Sheehy said, adding the water line project is still under budget.
