Plant sale sells out early

RITZVILLE - The annual Ritzville Volunteer Ambulance Association had to postpone its plant sale by a day due to an unexpected delivery delay last week, but that didn't impede sales.
In fact, the EMTs and volunteers sold out by noon Thursday and had to make a run to Deer Park on Friday morning to pick up more. Back in town and open for business by 1 p.m., they were again sold out around 4 p.m., leaving shoppers planning to hit the sale Saturday out of luck.
"The community has been very supportive this year," Ambulance Association President Neva Malby said Friday.
