Adams County schedules public hearings

RITZVILLE — Adams County Commissioners will host a virtual public hearing on affordable housing assistance Monday, May 11.

They will eceive comments on a proposed ordinance to authorize a sales-and-use tax for affordable and support housing in accordance with Substitute House Bill 1406, Affordable Housing Assistance.

The public hearing begins at 11 a.m. in Room 202 of the Adams County Courthouse, 210 W. Broadway Ave.

Also on Monday May 11, a public hearing is set on a grant renewal for Northwest Pipeline, LLC.

The company would construct, operate, and maintain a natural gas pipeline upon, under, over, across and along county rights-of-way.

The hearing is at 10 a.m., also in Room 202 of the courthouse.
