Session of Legislature ratifying 19th Amendment ends

The state legislature convened Monday noon in special session in response to the call of Governor Hart. The first measure to be passed was the resolution introduced by Mrs. Haskell, of Pierce County, ratifying the 19th amendment to the federal constitution, which extends the right of suffrage to women.
