Registration looms for wheat meeting

RITZVILLE – The annual Washington State University Dryland Wheat Producer meeting will take palace Jan. 23.

The event will take place at the local American Legion, 106. W. Broadway.

This year's program includes programs on:

-- Winter Wheat Growth, Wireworms and More, presented by local agronomist Aaron Esser.

-- Herbicide Resistance and Winter Annual Grassy Weed Control, presented by Pullman-based weed scientist Drew Lyon.

-- Wheat Cultivars for Dryland Production, presented by Pullman agronomist Clark Keely.
