Dryland wheat producer meeting set for next Thursday

The Washington State University Extension office in Ritzville will be hosting a dryland wheat producer meeting at the American Legion Hall next Thursday, Jan. 23.

Six topics will be discussed at the meeting. Aaron Esser, WSU Extension Agronomist, will be talking about winter wheat growth and wireworms, as well as giving a demonstration on the farm bill tool. Other topics include herbicide resistance and winter annual grassy weed control, wheat cultivars for dryland production, and winter wheat breeding, CoAxium Wheat and falling numbers.
