RGS students compete at Bi-County Academic Contest

The Bi-County Academic Contest was held on Nov. 13 this year, with students from 3rd through 8th grade participating in the annual event.

This year's contest was hosted by the Harrington School District, with Ritzville, Lind, Reardan, Wilbur, Liberty, Harrington, Odessa, Creston, Davenport, Lamont and Sprague-Lamont all participating. Schools in Adams and Lincoln County participate in the yearly contest.

Students compete in six different categories during the contest: math, spelling, geography, argumentative speech, impromptu speech and interpretive speech. For each school, teachers selecte...
