New EARH nurse practitioner Julie Trofibio, who began at the hospital earlier this summer. For Trofibio, working in a rural community allows her to get to know her patients on a more personal level.
The medical staff at East Adams Rural Healthcare has grown in numbers this year, with the addition of a new physician's assistant, doctor and now family nurse practitioner, with the hiring of Julie Trofibio earlier this summer.
Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida, Trofibio comes to EARH with 18 years of experience as a nurse, working her way up the chain beginning as a licensed practical nurse, then a registered nurse and now as a nurse practitioner.
