Brief: Sheriff's office makes arrest at Othello Fair

On Friday, Sept. 13, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office detained four male juvenile subjects who had jumped a fence in an effort to avoid paying admission at the Othello Fair.

According to the ACSO, one of the four juveniles was in possession of a loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun and was booked into the Martin Hall Juvenile Detention Center.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, ACSO announced that sheriff deputies conducted further investigation and went to the juvenile’s home. At the home, deputies say they located a firearm that had been reported stolen during a burglary.

The juvenile is currently being held on multiple charges at the detention center.
