Commissioners pass resolution to establish countywide burn ban

Adams County Commissioners passed resolution No. R-034-2019, which established a countywide burn ban on all outdoor burning that began at midnight June 30.

The burn ban will continue until official notice has been made to rescind the ban. Recreational and barbecue cooking fires will still be allowed during the period of the ban, according to section No. 4 of the resolution.
