Brief: Ritzville Public Library looking for artists

The Ritzville Public Library is looking for artists that would be interested in displaying their works at the library.

Kylie Fulmer, Director of the East Adams Library District, said that the library has both wall space and the tops of the bookshelves to use for display. She said that the library can display art such as photos, paintings, quilts, fiber arts, mixed media and small sculptures, amongst others.

The artwork is typically displayed for 2-3 months, and the library is looking to install a new artist’s work as early as this summer. But those interested in displaying their work in the fall, winter or spring are also welcome to sign up.

All ages and talents are encouraged to display their works, not just professionals. If interested, please contact the library at 509-659-1222 or by emailing [email protected].
