Letter to the Editor: Help needed for honoring Memorial Day

With Memorial Day approaching, the American Legion Post 51 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 11446, would appreciate any help that is available for putting up the flags on the 24th of May at 5:30 in the evening.

The take down of the flags will be the 27th of May at 5:30 in the evening. Help is also appreciated.

I am sorry to report that there will be no memorial service this year due to lack of personnel. Age, health and other activities prevent this solemn occasion.

Everybody have a great weekend and thanks for all of your assistance with the flags.
