Washtucna Music Department students have been busy in music festivals and competitions.

Nate Hille and Jess Van Hollebeke (both trombone players) were selected for the Southeast Music Educators Honor Jazz Band at WSU conducted by Greg Yasinitsky. They performed January 28.

Drake Gloyn (French horn), Lexy Hamilton (tenor sax), and Cooper Jessop (clarinet) received Excellent ratings at the regional Solo/Ensemble Festival, and Jess Van Hollebeke and Hannah Hille (clarinet) achieved Superior ratings.
