Gritman Senior Center holds annual meeting, elects new officers

The H.E. Gritman Senior Center board and interested parties gathered for the annual meeting on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 1:00 p.m. Minutes from the previous year’s meeting were unanimously approved.

Janet Sanger reported on the financial status of the Center. In 2017, the Center took in $37,900.62 and spent $36,834.55 on expenses – showing a positive balance of $1,066 (the previous year had a negative balance). The Center had cashed in a CD for $10,000.37 in order to meet Center costs. During the year, CenturyLink, City of Ritzville and Adams County provided $14,500 in grants. These funds were need...
